Welcome! I’m Pervesh Anthwal, a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

My research interests lies at the intersection of Behavioral Economics, Public Economics, and Political Economy, unified by a common methodological approach in Experimental Economics. My research examines how economic conditions and political context shape preferences and, more broadly, voting behavior. 

I am on the 2025–2026 academic job market. 

Outside of academics, I enjoy sketching, hiking and playing volleyball.
